Scouts Canada Program Review Youth Survey 2012

posted Jan 13, 2012, 8:40 AM by Jason Millar
Scouts Canada is beginning a comprehensive program review for all of its sections, and are anxious to hear from the youth themselves to help structure the opportunities that we offer.  Below is a message from our Chief Commissioner Steve Kent outlining how all Scouting members can participate in shaping our program offerings going forward:

Calling all youth: Tell us what you think - Program Review survey
A comprehensive review of our five core Programs (Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts) is underway. The "Scouts Canada Program Review Youth Survey 2012" seeks youth input on what matters most about their programs. We encourage all youth to take part!
As a parent or volunteer, please help to ensure that our youth make their voices heard. Parents may need to assist younger members with some questions. The results from this survey will be used to ensure that our programs meet the needs of today's youth. (Please note that we will be seeking input from all of our volunteers in a subsequent survey.)
The Youth Survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Only one survey respondent per computer is permitted, so for households with more than one registered Scouts Canada youth, we ask that the oldest youth complete the survey. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
Thank you for helping to improve our programs by sharing your thoughts and experiences.

We would very much appreciate it if you could take the time to assist your Cub Scout in completing this survey -- after all, this is their program!
