It's time once again for our annual spring fundraiser and environmental awareness project, ScouTrees!  Youth should already have their order form (if not, see a leader to pick one up) and can begin collecting donations.  Most of the proceeds stay with our group, with some going to support an excellent cause - the Canadian Scout Brotherhood Fund.  Youth can then come on out on May 3rd from 10:00 - 12:00 to help improve our environment by planting saplings. This year, we'll be planting at our usual Hall and Russell Road location near Carlsbad Springs (see our attachment and this link)!
Please be sure to include full address information on the collection envelope for anyone who donates over $20 and wishes a tax receipt.

Youth that are planting should bring:
  • water bottle
  • hat
  • sunscreen/bug spray (if needed)
  • rubber boots (if needed)
  • shovel
  • bucket for putting water in
